COP26: Head of Events, Venue Operations & Digital Platform - Cabinet Office

Helen has over twelve years’ experience working in Government, in the UK and internationally, on events, engagement and strategy.

As Head of Events in the UK Government’s COP26 team, Helen had oversight and responsibility for several workstreams in the planning and delivery of the largest international Summit the UK has ever hosted with 120 World Leaders and c40,000 participants attending the three-week UN event. Focusing on venue operations and the first COP digital platform, Helen ensured that sustainability was at the heart of planning.

Before her work on COP26, Helen was Head of Strategic Engagement at the UK Government Scotland Office; led on Ministerial visits for the Secretary of State for Education and spent 5 years in Brussels working on events and visits.
