Nichola Cooke

Assistant Director (Development) - STAR Procurement

Nichola provides strategic leadership for STAR and brings with her over 16 years of procurement and local government experience.  Nichola is also a very experienced project and programme manager, ensuring projects deliver to time and budget, and exceed expectations. Nichola has undertaken a number of shared service reviews across the UK.

Nichola has been pivotal in leading significant changes and growth at STAR giving her a deep understanding of the complexities of leading change, innovation and new strategic approaches.

Nichola’s experience is also supported through professional training and qualifications. She is MCIPS Chartered qualified, a practitioner with the Shared Services Architect, and is ILM accredited through the Collaborative Business Management & Leadership Programme. She is also Author, Adjudicator, and Assess of CAR and will be undertaking the training to be on the LGA Shared Service Expert Programme.
